Ben Lerner
Ben has over 20 years experience working in the real estate tech space (commercial, residential, investment management, corporate, data, workplace, construction, IWMS and facilities management), both operationally as a seasoned executive and on the corporate development, M&A and investment side.
Since joining his family business, Qube Global Software - one of the world's leading industry businesses - back in 2002, Ben has been involved in business development, executive operations, corporate strategy, investment and M&A within the PropTech sector. After selling the business to private equity backed MRI Software in 2017 Ben spent time integrating the businesses and looking after UK operations alongside MRI's US based management team, prior to opening his own industry focused M&A advisory practice.
Both prior to selling the Qube business and throughout his time with MRI and beyond, Ben has been actively involved in M&A on deal sourcing, structuring, negotiation, due diligence and general advisory. He maintains excellent long term relationships with real estate tech business owners and founders, industry leader management executives, as well as with private equity, venture capital and investment banking firms, leveraging these relationships to provide an exceptional advisory service.
With a keen interest in the startup community Ben also mentors for a number of startup accelerator programs in the industry, as well as advises industry niche VC's, such as Pi Labs (UK), Concrete VC (UK) Goldacre ReLab (UK) and MetaProp (US) amongst others.
Ben can also be found at many global industry events either building and nurturing relationships or on the stage.
Outside of work Ben, is a family man residing in London with his wife Deborah and their five children. He is an active community member, a lapsed fixed wing pilot and a terrible squash player.
