Jo is a graduate of the University of Exeter with a First Class BSc in Economics and Finance.

Her professional journey began in Internal Audit at RSM, where she worked across a range of industries. She then joined PwC’s Audit practice, focusing on financial services and insurance companies.

Having joined Lerner Associates as an Associate in November 2025, Jo contributes to the firm’s M&A practice on the transaction team leading end-to-end sell-side projects within the property technology industry.

Qualifications

Jo holds a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Exeter. She is also an ACA Chartered Accountant, having passed all 15 exams first time, and qualifying in February 2025.

Personal

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jo moved to Cheltenham, UK with her family in 2009. After university, she relocated to London, where she now resides. Outside of work, she enjoys running and cooking for friends and family.
